Morgan Sindall is working on a significant project at Old Town Street and New George Street and the whole of Armada Way in Plymouth, aimed at enhancing and replacing the tree’s, pavements and infrastructure of this key retail area in the city centre. They approached us to assist in capturing and organizing the groundworks imaging and BIM modelling for the entire site on a monthly basis. We utilized our DJI Matrice 300 and P1 camera and our DJI Mavic 3E commercial drone for 2D orthomosaic captures and 3D models, along with the new Insta X4 360 camera for ground-level imaging to address any potential damage related to design and shop front works. To date, our efforts have saved Morgan Sindall thousands in insurance claims and provided a precise aerial overview month after month for surveying, archiving, and construction purposes, ensuring that the residents of Plymouth can enjoy their city for years to come.
